The picture is so good its distracting from the show. The depth of the colors and the quality are awesome. If you are on the fence about getting this TV,...just buy it.
I bought this TV a week ago, nothing extraordinary, do the job that a 4K TV supposed to do, I have three complaints...
First: The power cord is too short, should be a standard 6' but comes shorter so, you might need to buy a longer one.
Second: This TV has a Optical Audio Output only which is fine but I was expecting the RCA outputs because I would love to connect them to my Yamaha EQ for better sound.
Third: TV has an EQ integrated but for some reason is disabled which sucks since no RCA outputs.
One more thing but this goes to Amazon...
Since this package is way too big and expensive, Amazon should call the customer to make sure someone will be at home, had bad experience with this because the persons who delivered it, broke into my backyard, have no idea how they opened the side gate but the did and left the TV by the backdoor patio when the temperature outside was 110'F, my sister came from work at that moment, saw the guys and was about to call the police.
I'll call Amazon and make a complaint because they messed up with one of the gate screws, I just need to tight it but still, they need to improve in this kind of deliveries.
Well, other than that, the TV is good and the best of all, Amazon gave me 4 months to pay it in full, which is awesome.

I am LOVING my new TV! I had previously purchased one back around when they first came out with the curved screen and they cost roughly $1.5-$2K (and also weighed a frikin ton). This newer model is SO much better. The picture quality is amazing and they seem to have worked out most if not all of the little glitches and bugs from earlier models. It was very simple to set up and position; I used the feet as apposed to wall mounting. It paired well with my Sony Blu-Ray player and without even going through a setup, the remote controls that as well. I don't understand the people that complain about the positioning of the apps on the lower part of the screen or the adds that play (they are called commercials and they only start for me if I am watching the Samsung TV Plus channels. Remember when commercials were a thing?); it's a non-issue as it's really not that difficult to hit the over button an extra time or two if one of your apps is a little further over to the right. In all, if you are like me and just want a really nice TV that doesn't cost more than a month's rent (or two months...), then I would HIGHLY recommend this one!
WTF Samsung? You could not spend another $5 on a better plastic remote? While the TV is OK (no frills, but expected for the price I paid) and is performing as expected the disappointment is with a remote that I will not use (controlled app by phone) but even for the one hour setting of display and audio, this POS remote was the worst. Setting button so small, buttons getting pushed down and do absolutely nothing, even for a medium sized hand, can't really operate in one hand, left or right handed..
As for the TV experience - replaced a 5 years old other 55" Samsung TV who blew up the power supply board, again. No complaints, it is 5 years old. The picture quality of the previous TV is PAR with the new one. So being used to am amazing picture, I am not excited with the series 7 pictures quality, although it is pretty good. Did not have yet a chance to experience HDR (got it operated one day only).
I bought the 55' 4k curved screen, and every channel, movie, and all apps are distorted. This TV has been falsely advertised. I've never seen an actual clear screen. There's hardly any settings for the TV, so you have no way to adjust picture or sound quality. It's also nonrefundable. It also doesn't come with a smart remote as advertised.
